A helping hand for a 5-acre block of land

October 21, 2019

Brian from Mackay loves living out in the bush and has decided to get a helping hand for his 5-acre block of land in Queensland.

“I’ve had my PW628 for about 12 months now. Absolutely love it and getting plenty of use out of it. Even though it doesn’t generate any income for me as it’s only used on my 5-acre block, I still see it as great value for money!”

With a trencher, 4in1 bucket, rock grapple bucket, a dozer blade, some forks and a slasher, Brian has a pretty great set-up to work around the bush on his property.”

“Where we live it is pretty much just bush with a house in the middle, there’s a horse paddock but we don’t have a horse anymore. We like the privacy with the bush around us. The block of land has a lot of Lantana on it, so I’ve been slowly clearing the lantana and some of the smaller scrub so that grass will grow amongst the trees and keep the lantana out. Then I am planning to manage it with the slasher. I can’t use a normal tractor and slasher as there’s so many trees to work around. Fitting into those tight spaces makes the Kanga so useful to me! I also use the Kanga to maintain the long driveway and drains etc. I’ve built some great veggie gardens. There are just so many uses.”

“It’s a very well-built machine, with great quality components. A have a lot of Honda stuff (bikes and power equipment) and am convinced that the Honda engine will last me a long time. The layout of the controls and way they the machine is built is first class, very neat and tidy. Even the quality of the little zipped pouch that the owner’s manual etc is presented in is top notch. I’ve compared it to some of the Chinese machines and American machines. In my opinion, the Kanga is a far better built and better-looking machine – Yes, looks do mean a lot too! And I love green.

I’m very proud to support an Australian owned and manufactured product. The fact that they are manufactured in Queensland is even better & I love the history and story behind the Kanga brand.“ – Brian.
